In a conversation with Hello India News Reporter Jui Jadhav on phone, Corporator Daksha Patel of Ward No.36 says she is not satisfied with the work of BMC official’s as they are not tackling the problems seriously.

People put up in quarantine centers are not getting proper treatment. There are complaints coming from quarantine centers about water and food.

Though we are solving the issue from our side, ironically we are not receiving expected help from the officials, states Dakasha.

Amid this Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, Daksha Patel in her ward distributed masks, more than 60 medical camps have been organized and the camps still continue.

Now there are 10-12 positive patients in Ward No. 36 i.e Malad (E). People staying at Triveni Nagar which is a quarantine centers for the families of positive patients are complaining continuously regarding the food and water issues. The officials in the Ward are not working seriously and no care of hygiene is taken.

Daksha Patel further says that she doesn’t expect luxurious facilities but, just that, basic health facilities should be provided to the relatives.

Finally she said that even if we are positive then too we should have enough strength and faith and our health will recover. We should take precautions such as to consume hot water, wear mask and try to go out only if there is some urgent work.
