Jaslok Hospital’s Building Portion Collapsed Due To Heavy Rain, No Casaulty Reported, First Picture Of The Spot Here

Since last 48 hours Mumbai is facing heavy rains. Areas like Dharavi, Chembur, Kurla, etc; are facing major water logging issues. Transportation is stopped. Mumbai is completely under water. Sea shores are facing High-Tides. Under such circumstances a portion of Mumbai’s well known Jaslok Hospital has collapsed. But the great news is that no casualties have been reported.

Since three days heavy rains with gusty winds paralysed movement of buses and private vehicles. Few offices and other establishments, remained shut on on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile a family lost their lives by falling in the gutter when their building came crashing down. Many people are feared to have been trapped Rescue operations are underway. Instances of wall collapse, uprooting of trees and waterlogging are reported.

The India Meteorological Department has predicted more intense showers in few hours owing to the thick cloud cover over the region.
