Attempt to divert people’s attention from the deteriorating economy by giving religious color to the currency notes
Mumbai, 27 October,
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are two sides of the same coin and both can go to any level for political gain. The country has seen this many times. Arvind Kejriwal has come to Modi’s aid by demanding pictures of gods and goddesses to be printed on currency notes and trying to give religious colour to currency notes to divert people’s attention from the main issue that is of the deteriorating economy. Kejriwal’s true colours are now before the public, said Nana Patole, President, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.Speaking in this context, Nana Patole said that the country’s economy has deteriorated due to the wrong policies and blunders of the Modi government. The rupee is depreciating by the day. Inflation has gone up. Unemployment is at a 45-year high. People are frustrated and there is an atmosphere of anger against the government in the country. Economists are giving various suggestions to bring the economy back on track and provide relief to the people. But the finance minister of the country is making a cruel mockery by saying that the rupee is not depreciating but the dollar has strengthened.
