PM/CM Care Fund (6th April 2020)
Rotary Club of Calcutta South Circle had a board meeting & decided to contribute 35K to the Prime Minister’s Care Fund / Chief Minister’s Care Fund.

Ration Distribution at Raghavpur (14th April 2020)

“Pandemic is not a word to use lightly or carelessly. It is a word that, if misused, can cause unreasonable fear or unjustified acceptance that the fight is over, leading to unnecessary suffering & death.”

Rotary Club of Calcutta South Circle took an initiative to distribute food provisions at the time whole world is fighting with Covid 19, obviously the distribution done maintaining social distancing.

80 bags of basic food provision (ration) – 5 kg rice, 2 kg potato, 500gm musur dal (pulses), 1 ltr mustard oil – were distributed as Covid disaster response among the villagers around Raghabpur St Xavier’s College Campus, kolkata under supervision of local authority.

At lockdown period when we are sitting at home peacefully, we salute them who all are working 24×7 without any hesitation. They are the Real Heros of our nation.
Keeping them in mind, members of Rotary Club of Calcutta South Circle had taken initiative to distribute Hand Sanitizers and 3 Ply Masks to Saroj Gupta Cancer Care & Research Institute and Local Police Stations in Kolkata.
