“I’m a member of Inner Wheel Club Dist. 135 of Secunderabad, since 2004 and till have done many charity work. Though it’s difficult to count, but, I enjoy doing my work.
Mrs Prabhu further says, In this pandemic situation the wheel has been set rolling continuously. Due to Corona Virus and self isolation, our leaders have came up with great idea of virtual meet.
As a member of Inner Wheel Club she mentions that her Club had done a lot of charity work and project to help the needy and deserving since 1986 the wheel of charity has been rolling.
Mrs Suhasini also mentions that COVID period has made our regular work difficult because of the risk to get affected.
However Inner Wheel Club did not stop its work for the public. Their Member Vijayalakshmi Shekhawat donated Groceries worth Rs 5000/- to the forum for boys in the corona effected area.
Their Past president ,Ratna Rao too, along with her daughter Madhuri ,donated food and groceries worth Rs10000/-to sixty people, in containment zone area, at Rasoolpura.
She stated that the theme of our club is LEAD THE CHANGE, inspired by this, our President Vandana Jain ,who along with our club secretary Jayanthi Kannan, donated 300 Kits for self isolation ,at the cantonment Hospital worth Rs75000/-,this amount was generously donated by our own club members. Which has been highly applauded by our Association Editor,Sandhya Bhat. The news channels n news papers too were not far behind in publishing.
