Rotary club Of Shimla District 3080 Launched Campaign How To Prevent The Spread Of Covid 19 In Schools And Colleges, Shared Charity Work Experience With Hello India News

In light of the emergence and spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID –19)

key Highlights of Charity project amid Lockdown :

Rotary Club Shimla has come forward to inform and educate about the transmission and prevention and to encourage the development of processes and actions to address this global challenge. It is the perfect time that the susceptible children going to schools in our city be educated about its possible spread and ways to prevent the same. Given the uncertainty, Rotary Club Shimla is taking proactive steps to address a number of schools in Shimla .

Rotary Club Shimla visited 57 schools & 1 College (Govt.as well as private) of Shimla on 13th March 2020 (Six Teams of two Rotarians each) 6 more Colleges to be touched on Monday Morning to provide the following educative and preventive material to the schools of Shimla to reduce the chances of transmission of communicable disease in the schools.
1. Banners depicting how to prevent the spread of the COVID – 19 to be put up at best viewable spaces in the school.
2.leaflets on educating the children on prevention and spread of the virus to be put up in each classroom of the schools.
3. Five hand wash (per school) for washing and cleaning hands of children and teachers at regular intervals while their time spent during the day in the school premises to encourage in them the habit of regularly washing their hands to prevent the spread of virus.

Today RCS creates awareness in around 20000 approx students that is 20000 household of Shimla town.
