Brief Introduction of Past Association Treasurer, The Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in India Mrs. Archana Agarwal
Mrs. Archana Agrawal was born and brought up in the Silk City of Bihar, Bhagalpur. After her schooling at Mount Carmel, she pursued her Psychology (Honours) as a merit holder.
From the very beginning, she was passionate about serving society, a quality that she inherited from her journalist and social worker father Late Sri Mukutdhari Agrawal. She has a passion for teaching and she taught underprivileged children when she was a student herself. Even today she spares time to teach underprivileged children from her locality.
Her passion for Service made her join Inner Wheel in the year 2006 as a member of the Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow. She served as Club President and Secretary and after that, Within three years of joining Inner Wheel, she entered District 312 as District ISO. As District Editor she introduced the District Directory as an important publication of the District. As District Treasurer her work was greatly appreciated by the Association Treasurer Mrs. Patricia Hilton. As District ESO, Archana formed 2 new clubs by the names of Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow Gomti and Inner Wheel Club of Lucknow Pragati. Turning the Charters into Digital Form was an achievement as District ESO. Along with that worked hard as District Vice Chairman when she gave her best as Polio Chairman as well as District Literacy Committee Coordinator of her District.
She became the District Chairman in the year 2016-17 and hosted a very successful Multi-District Meet at Lucknow. A record number of 486 Delegates from 23 Districts joined the event. The event was greatly praised by one and all where 23 Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines were donated to place in schools and other public places, 16 artificial limbs were donated, 25 bicycles were given to needy school girls and a Dead Body Chiller was donated in a Gurdwara.
In the year 2017-18, Archana was elected to serve as the Association Treasurer of The Association of Inner Wheel clubs in India and was greatly appreciated for her meticulous work.
Archana has strong faith in God and His Power. She believes in hard work. Archana is married to Rtn Vivek and blessed with two children.
During this period of crisis due to the corona Pandemic she wishes to spread the message – Stay at Home, Follow all Covid Protocols, Have Patience, Increase your immunity and Help those who are in need.
